No language skills with hotel's stadd

First of all, I was tried to be cheated on check-in. They pushed me to sighn on bill with double price. Then my room was very hot, stincky from smoking, and poor furnushed. And dirty. Stayed one night- and gone. Never will be again.

The first visit was seven yeas ago. It was much better then now. Today it is tradition.

While check in they were taken a deposit 2000 rmb. We left the hotel three weeks ago, but the depisit had not been returned yet to credit card.

The location.

The clerks at the check in counter were unfriendly. No one ever smiled. The simply checked me in, without any personal interaction. The had no social, interpersonal relation experience. This, I understand might be acceptable to Chinese guests. As an American, however, I was somewhat put off. As with many hotels through out all of China, the air- conditioning is controlled somewhere other than in the rooms. I was told the cooling system would not be turned on until May. However, the temperature is often warm in April, and the cooling system should be turned on! Allow the guest to control! The pillows were very soft, and quite thin. I had a neck ache the next day!
